This Friday 8th March, it is International Women’s Day. It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The first International Women’s Day was celebrated in 1911 and has been pioneering women’s rights ever since.
At Avenue HQ we’re bringing it closer to home, speaking to members about the most inspirational women in their lives. Here are a few quotes from members we have spoken to over the past week, and how they’ve been influenced by some amazing women:
No one becomes successful alone. We owe it to the people that support and guide us in both our work and personal life. Having strong, admirable women in the work environment is important not only for workers today but to inspire future generations. It’s important to set a good example by championing collaboration and hard work between all, and having women represented throughout the company.
