Make the most of both social and business events. They can be beneficial for making friends and boosting your business. Events can be the foundation to developing a relationship with other members. As you have a common topic to start a discussion on, there’s no need to feel uneasy about making the first move.
Open The Door
While a benefit to having a private office is having your own space, it doesn’t mean you can’t have guests. Why not have an occasional open door policy? This shows other members that you want to be part of the community and encourage collaboration.

We Brits love our tea. As cliche as it sounds, a cup of tea can bring us together. So much so that we’ll probably see you at the tea point more than anywhere else.
